Issue & Risk

Some of the bolts that came with the Kimpex Rush and Kimpex Arrow II ski kits could break and cause the skis to detach from the snowmobile. Only the 3/8-16 imperial bolts that are included in the Kimpex Rush and Kimpex Arrow II ski kits are affected. This issue may result in loss of control of the vehicle and cause serious injury. As of March 10, the company has received 1 report of an incident in Canada, and no report of injuries.

This recall involves the Kimpex Rush and Kimpex Arrow II snowmobile ski kits, as well as the Kimpex Arrow II and Kimpex Rush ski adapter kits. The ski kits that may include non-compliant bolts were sold between April 2022 and January 2025.

What to do: Immediately stop using the recalled products. Inspect bolts and have them replaced by a Kimpex dealer if they are not compliant.
