Recall Details

Starting Date: January 01, 1970

Description:

Today, March 14, 2025 General Motors has initiated a recall of over 90,000 Cadillac and Chevrolet vehicles due to a transmission defect that could lead to dangerous front wheel lock-up. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) warns this significantly increases the risk of accidents.

The 2019 through 2022 Cadillac CT4, CT5, CT6, and Chevrolet Camaro vehicles, among others, are affected.

Owners will receive notification letters around April 21st. GM dealerships will provide a complimentary software update to address the issue.

Vehicle owners can check their VIN on the NHTSA website to confirm recall status. GM urges prompt action to schedule the necessary repair.
